"Nobody should pin their hopes on a miracle."

Well I think it's obvious that Inna Woods isn't coming along. It looked promising for a while with an actual team getting into developing it, but it's been dead quiet at their end for a while now.

As for me I've exhausted myself with other projects and can't bring myself to get IW up and running by myself just now. Maybe some day it gets fired up but that'll have to happen with a local dev team and more time in my hands. Seems international developement isn't quite that easy..

So please accept my apoligies and thank you for your enthusiasm and support.

I for one had some good times with you komrades.

  3. Crap, what's with this comment system? Sorry for double post if I make one but I'm having trouble with blogspot. What's with this obsession with needing cookies for absolutely anything on the Internet nowadays?

Right, back to my actual comment.

Pity, I was subscribing to the RSS feed, waiting for something to happen but not this. We started our projects roughly at the same time. I'm having the same problem - getting any outside help is hard. Seems not a lot of people are willing to work on some else's dream :/ I think I've got a better chance because I'm also a programmer so progress is slow for the lack of help but I can keep going regardless.

I'm not seriously hoping you'd join mine (though it is kind of similar, you run a mercenary operation, except it's got giant robots) but maybe, at some point, just consider thinking about possibly contributing a tidbit if you like the idea or think I'd be fun - it's publicly available on github and in dire need of art to replace my placeholders. It's on metalcrusade.com if you ever want to have a look.

  6. I predicted this early on. I got a lot of hate, but I was right. I'm sorry that I was though, as little faith i had in the project, it did look really good.

    Sincerely, Anon.

  9. Damn...

Can't you maybe find someone else to continue/finish this project for you? This news just like smashed my dream, there has to be some way to go on...

  11. I understand that the actual game may never be, but could you PLEASE post all the finished (or as close to) transparent pngs for the character creator?

I really enjoyed that, but I'm missing a lot of items that you have posted in images on this blog.

  20. what kind of budget do you need to finish the game as a whole rather than have it released unfinished?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Tell you what, I suck at game making, but I can do it together with a dude that knows some java,
if you give me all the sprites you have, me and my friend can make this thing happen! ok, it will be game maker, but it's better than nothing, right?

  22. I would pay for this, as PC or indie game on 360

I can't believe there aren't a couple programmers willing to put some time into this game. The concept is great, the look is very appealing, I'm sure there is code out there you can borrow from other games for the most part, and not only would you make a good game people would enjoy, you would make good money, since this definitely has potential to be an enjoyable and addictive game

  23. If you're still out there, I'm a CS major who has high hopes for game design and, with a few more years under my belt, could write code for you. If you're interested, please reply or contact me.

  24. i dont know if you still check here or on your mail.... but i am interested in buying the rights of this from you and releasing a version of it as a papercraft game... i would love it if you could respond

  25. Have you considered Kickstarter? I'd love to help if I can. I might have a programmer buddy who wouldn't mind throwing in some time I think.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Make a kickstarter maybe? I'd love to see this game come to fruition

    ReplyDelete
  27. +1 for Kickstarter.

    Make it so.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kickstart the shit out of this.
We could probably get some help from good ole Reddit.

    ReplyDelete
  29. is there any chance you could put up a download link for the people who want to try the game? im sure that if you do then a lot of people will try to help you finish it or something of the sort

  30. i`m agree with others - u need Kickstarter or give a chance to try this game like little demo or something like this.
P/s/ Because this idea is great :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Kickstarter this. We want this. This must not die.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Wow, this was a great concept video game..

I hope you make a Kickstarter for this, man.

    ReplyDelete
  33. KICKSTARTER, PLEASE, I'd pay for a full game of this easily.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Dude you should really go to kickstarter, every other thread on /b/ is an ZombieRPG, using a character made with your INNAWOODS character creator.

  35. This going down now? What would be good is a demo or an intro to the game, even a simple beta gameplay can work.

  36. the fact that this is dead just really eats away at me. this could've been such a beautiful thing. R I P.

  37. Its hard breaking to see it fall apart. I do played the earliest fallout, and a Russian online game with the same/close game mechanics. I enjoy such games, and I will surely enjoy this. I hope you can get enough will and help to finish this masterpiece. o7

    1. Don't lose hope yet. I will have a try on recreate Innawoods again. Next year I have a class of creating Computer Game Website and I may help re-develope Innawoods again, you might dunno that.

  42. If only this were on kickstarter

  43. For anyone who hoped on getting Innawoods,

I knew this sound quite impossible, but I swear by Broton I will make this Game alive again. Next school year I have a class of creating Computer Games websites. I think this is the chance to save what's left of Innawoods. I could save Broton and his team, although they might be (or have been) facing Bankruptcy. I will relive Innawoods again.
